Ms. Shein has authored numerous publications in numerous national and state law journals on topics in sentencing and appellate matters, including The Sentencing Defense Manual, published by West Group from 1988 to 1998. This book served as a criminal defense lawyer's guide to effective sentencing advocacy and sentencing resources. It was awarded the Best Legal and Accounting Text for 1988 by the American Association of Publishers.
